The STX 5/10 is EMT's MC step-up transformer, designed and manufactured in Switzerland and matched to EMT cartridges as the reference. Toroidal winding with purest silver wire and advanced low-loss magnetic materials bring this very traditional technology to a new level of low noise and high resolution. Two gain settings serve standard and low-output cartridges, and ground and load options let it be configured precisely to the system around it.
