The JSD Novel Gold is the top of EMT's hi-fi cartridge line, built around the EMT multi-layer core transducer: a two-part coil core arranged on a high-strength titanium carrier that encloses the sapphire cantilever. Its generator coil is wound from pure gold for a rich, colourful sound, and the heavy high-density body ensures optimal energy dissipation even on demanding tonearms. Hand-built in Switzerland, like every EMT cartridge since 2014.
