The JSD VM — variable mass — gives the listener a possibility unique in the world: tuning the cartridge's resonance behaviour to the tonearm and to personal preference. It ships with three interchangeable inlay bolts of different materials, shifting effective mass between 10 and 12 grams. The generator is EMT's modern reference design with a multi-radius diamond on a sapphire cantilever, assembled by hand in Switzerland.
