The 909-HI is EMT's 9-inch high-end tonearm with a rigidly fixed headshell for hi-fi cartridge connection. Each EMT tonearm consists of over 150 parts, the structural ones machined from solid material — stainless steel for the base, an aluminium alloy for the moving elements — with modern bearing technology and contactless magnetic anti-skating inside the traditional EMT form. The fixed headshell allows azimuth correction, and any EMT hi-fi cartridge can be mounted. Output is standard lead wire, with a 5-pin DIN outlet as a factory option.
