The Relentless Epic 1600 is the flagship monoblock of Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems, a true balanced design that uses a single current-mirror front end to derive perfectly symmetrical plus and minus rails, so distortion artifacts cancel across both halves of the signal. A 5.5 kVA linear transformer and a 600,000-microfarad capacitor bank feed 112 matched output transistors, delivering 1,600 watts into 8 ohms and doubling into each halving of impedance on a 220-volt supply. The no-global-negative-feedback circuit is joined by D'Agostino's Super Rail topology, and the chassis is machined from solid aluminum with an eight-inch power meter and copper/aluminum elliptical heat sinks.
