The Momentum M400 MxV is the fullest expression of the original Momentum circuit, incorporating techniques first developed for the Relentless Series; its name reads as mass times velocity, the physics equation for momentum. An ultra-quiet 2,200 VA linear transformer with an improved winding scheme drives a nearly 100,000-microfarad capacitor bank, producing 400 watts into 8 ohms and doubling into 4 and 2 ohms. The output stage carries 28 matched 69 MHz high-output transistors on copper heat sinks, in the discrete, direct-coupled, fully balanced circuitry common to all D'Agostino amplifiers, and earlier Momentum monoblocks can be factory upgraded to full MxV specification.
