The Relentless 800 brings the circuit topology of the flagship Epic 1600 to a smaller platform, with power supply, input, driver, and output stages engineered to differ from its larger sibling only in output power. A nearly four-kilowatt potted, shielded transformer and 400,000 microfarads of capacitance feed 84 matched output devices, producing 800 watts into 8 ohms and doubling to 1,600 watts into 4 ohms and 3,200 watts into 2 ohms on a 220-volt outlet. The fully complementary, zero-global-feedback design employs Super Rail voltage boosting and a solid aluminum chassis with copper/aluminum elliptical heat sinks.
