The Momentum S250 MxV delivers the sound of the M400 MxV Monoblock in a compact stereo chassis, drawing on techniques and topologies developed for the Relentless Series. An ultra-quiet 2,200 VA linear transformer feeds a nearly 100,000-microfarad capacitor bank, yielding 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms, doubling to 500 into 4 ohms and 1,000 into 2 ohms. Its fully complementary driver and output stages use 28 matched 69 MHz transistors mounted to the signature copper heat sinks, and earlier Momentum stereo amplifiers can be upgraded to MxV specification within their original metalwork.
