Introduced for the company's fifteenth anniversary, the Momentum Z is the next generation of the Momentum monoblock platform and the first D'Agostino amplifier with a JFET-based input stage. Its proprietary Kinetic Drive Regulator power supply keeps the amplifier immune to AC mains irregularities, while a software-based control system optimizes every circuit group and reports operating data through an integrated Ethernet dashboard. Each five-axis-machined solid copper heat sink is formed from a single 42-pound copper billet, and a Dual Domain Meter pairs a 3.5-inch LCD with the traditional analog meter wand. Output is 500 watts into 8 ohms, doubling into 4 and 2 ohms.
