Reference is the first level at which Transparent calibrates the network to the amplifier as well as to the cable's length. It is built in High Z and Low Z versions for high or low output impedance amplifiers, with terminations and polarity configured to the system. The network housing is a thin, stiff carbon fibre composite shell holding a larger mass of damping epoxy than the acrylic modules below it, mounted on a custom-machined acrylic platform with isolation feet. Spade lugs are custom-machined, gold-plated tellurium copper on heavy OFHC stranding. Generation 6 construction, handcrafted in the USA. With warranty registration the original owner gets a limited lifetime warranty and factory recalibration at no charge if an amplifier or speaker change calls for it.
