The TD 404 DD is a high-end direct-drive turntable that pairs a powerful motor with the TP 160 tonearm and a revised electronic tonearm lift with auto-stop. The new platter design incorporates sophisticated resonance damping and an integrated stroboscope with pitch control for precise speed fine-tuning. A sandwich-construction frame with 5 mm aluminium top plate rests on three height-adjustable, spring-loaded feet, and connectivity runs to gold-plated RCA and balanced XLR outputs. The optional TPN 124 linear power supply is available to unlock its full potential.
