The TD 1500 is a modern tribute to the 1965 TD 150, the turntable that introduced the suspended subchassis with belt-driven inner platter to series production. Its fully manual design isolates platter and tonearm board on three conical springs, now adjustable from above through the platter. An electronically monitored DC motor with incremental encoder holds speed constant, and the TP 150 tonearm with SME connector carries a factory-fitted Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge. Balanced XLR outputs are unique in this class and enable true balanced operation with moving coil cartridges.
