The Soundwall HP 600 revives Thorens' open-baffle dipole concept of more than forty years ago, radiating equally to front and rear across the entire audio range. Developed by Joachim Gerhard, this three-way design mounts twelve 15 cm woofers, two midrange drivers and two back-to-back tweeters per channel in an ultra-flat baffle of solid aluminium and fine wood veneers. High sensitivity and amplifier-friendly impedance let it partner with practically any transistor or most tube amplifiers, and the rear tweeter level is adjustable for fine-tuning.
