The Venom Defender plugs into a spare outlet on a distributor or wall and adds transient protection to the circuit it shares: NextGEN TMOV protection rated at 20,000 A on the standard 8/50 microsecond pulse, in a polycarbonate and TPE body the size of a large plug. It draws no current and adds nothing in series with the components.
