Alpha-X is the first of the X series power cables: 8 gauge VTX-Ag conductors in a 3/4 inch tube with two TAPc polarizer modules, terminated in Shunyata's own CopperCONN connectors with carbon fiber shells and pure copper contacts. NR adds the noise filter for sources and preamplifiers; XC is the unfiltered version for distributors and amplifiers. Standard color is black with charcoal carbon.
