Shunyata's short adapters solve the inlet problems that come up in real systems. The universal adapter is a 12 in C14 to C13 lead on 12 gauge wire for a component whose inlet is blocked by a large connector. The burn-in adapter daisy-chains power cables and connects the end of the chain to a fan or lamp so cables can run in. The Venom cable adapters convert a standard IEC cable to the C5, C7 or C7P inlets on small components. The C14 to C19 adapter lets a standard C15 cable feed a distributor, and the C20 to C15 adapter runs a C19 cable into a standard component inlet.
