A pair of LS1s stereo subwoofers integrates seamlessly with the LS1 or LS1a, whose built-in phase-corrected crossover at 70 Hz turns the system into a phase-coherent three-way design. The LS1s fits elegantly between the legs of an LS1 facing upward, or can be taken off the footplate and placed in the optimum position for low-frequency reproduction. A top-grade Peerless woofer and a 400 W Hypex class D amplifier extend linear response down to 20 Hz.
