The Reference Phono 3SE represents a new performance benchmark in a single-chassis phono stage, carrying the ultra-high-quality parts upgrades introduced with the Reference 6SE line stage. The vacuum-tube audio stage uses six 6H30 tubes, three per channel, with a 6H30 and a 6550 providing partial tube regulation in the power supply. Two inputs with independent settings accommodate two turntables or tonearms, with selectable gain, loading and RIAA, Columbia or Decca equalization, a vacuum fluorescent display, tube-hour meter, and both balanced and single-ended outputs.
