Rather than adapting an existing design, it is derived directly from the ground-up platform that produced the Reference 20, carrying forward the same multi-metal layered chassis and custom suspended, mass-loaded circuit boards. Its power supply transitions to solid-state regulation for exceptionally low noise, while reference-grade output coupling capacitors derived from the flagship preserve signal purity throughout.
