The Reference 750SEL continues the pursuit begun by the Reference 600: a full-scale vacuum-tube amplifier with enough power to drive any loudspeaker. Sixteen KT150 power tubes per channel deliver 750 watts continuous into loads of 4 to 16 ohms through a massive custom-built power and output transformer, with approximately 1300 joules of power supply energy storage in reserve. It is built for the largest listening rooms and the largest loudspeaker designs.
