The PH9 is Audio Research's classic all-tube phono stage, providing class-leading phono preamplification for the majority of cartridge and turntable combinations. A trio of 6H30 vacuum tubes forms the core of a simple, clear signal path with 58dB of gain. Five impedance settings allow cartridge loading to be changed on the fly from the included metal remote, and cartridge impedance, tube hours and auto shutdown are managed through the menu system.
