The DAC9 combines a vacuum-tube analog section with the latest digital design, decoding DSD music files and PCM files up to 384kHz through two separate data paths that ensure proper integer decoding. Quad D-A converters run dual stereo DACs in mono per channel to increase dynamic range and lower the noise floor, with selectable digital filters and native-rate upsampling on all inputs. The balanced, Class-A, zero-feedback analog section uses a pair of 6H30 dual-triode tubes with no capacitive coupling, fed by an asynchronous USB input and four galvanically isolated SPDIF inputs.
