S/550 is the compact Serie S model: a 10 in. front-firing CarbonAlloy long-throw driver on a die cast alloy chassis with a 12 in. Carbon/Carbon flat passive radiator firing down, driven by a 550 W RMS Linear Class D amplifier. Extension is rated at -6 dB at 19 Hz. High level input is on Neutrik SpeakOn, low level on two RCA, LFE on RCA or XLR, with matching outputs for stacking a Line Array. Finished in eight coats of piano black or gloss white lacquer with the cloth grille included; a premium wood grille is optional. It weighs 68 lb. Wireless connection is through the Airship Direct transmitter, sold separately.
