No.36 is the larger of the two current Reference subwoofers. A 15 in. long-throw carbon fibre driver with an inverted carbon fibre centre cap works in a closed box, driven by a 1,000 W RMS Class AB/D amplifier on an ultra high-current power supply, and low frequency extension is rated at -6 dB at 15 Hz in room. Inputs cover high level on Neutrik SpeakOn, stereo low level on RCA and XLR, and LFE on RCA and XLR, with pass-through outputs for stacking a Line Array, and a dual parametric filter is built in. The cabinet carries 12 coats of piano black lacquer and weighs 202.5 lb. Wireless connection is through the Airship Direct transmitter, sold separately.
