Planar PL-2 is 5.7 in. deep and designed to work against the wall behind it, using boundary coupling instead of cabinet volume. An 8 in. FlatPiston long-throw active driver fires forward and a 10 in. FibreAlloy passive radiator fires to the rear, driven by a 550 W RMS Pure Class D amplifier; extension is rated at -6 dB at 24 Hz in room. High level input is on Neutrik SpeakOn, low level on RCA, LFE on RCA. Wireless reception is built in and works with the Airship Direct transmitter. The mains lead exits at 90 degrees for on-wall mounting, and the optional Planar Cart stands it on the floor. Piano black or gloss white, cloth grille included, premium wood grille optional. It weighs 44.6 lb.
