The Moon 850P is Simaudio's most advanced analog preamplifier, a two-chassis design that isolates the audio circuitry in its own enclosure, separate from the power supply, control circuitry, and display. Power supply regulation uses independent inductive DC filtering with one inductor for every IC in the signal path, forty stages in all. The result is a signal-to-noise ratio of 130 dB and distortion of 0.0005 percent across the audio band.
