The Moon 260D combines a CD transport and an optional 32-bit digital-to-analog converter in one chassis, with the drive mounted on Moon's M-Quattro gel-based four-point floating suspension for vibration damping. The DAC section can be added later, and its digital inputs accept virtually any digital source, while MQA pass-through preserves encoded disc data for external decoding. A transport-only T version is offered for owners of a standalone DAC.
