The MC830 is a compact solid state monoblock with the open-chassis industrial design of the MC275 and the MA252, rated at 300 watts into 8 ohms or 480 watts into 4 ohms from a direct coupled output. A fast-responding dual-scale watt meter reads power for both impedances, and Monogrammed Heatsinks keep the amplifier cool. It pairs naturally with the matching C8 vacuum tube preamplifier and MCD85 SACD/CD player.
