The C8 is a vacuum tube preamplifier with the open-chassis industrial design of the MC275, powered by four 12AX7A tubes housed in protective cages. Five analog inputs include moving coil and moving magnet phono stages with adjustable loading, and bass and treble controls allow tonal fine-tuning. Digital inputs can be added through an optional dealer-installed DA2 Digital Audio Module, and it pairs naturally with the MC830 monoblocks.
