Synergy is SME's integrated turntable, factory configured with a built-in phono stage and matched moving coil cartridge so that set-up is minimal. It unites four marques in one instrument: the SME Series IV magnesium tonearm, Ortofon's exclusive-series MC Windfeld Ti cartridge, a custom phono stage designed by Nagra and mono-crystal silver wiring by Crystal Cable. The MK2 version adds a new drive system with a custom bi-phase AC synchronous motor and DSP speed control for improved accuracy and stability.
