The PD-191A is Luxman's premium turntable system, successor to the long-running PD-171 series. A brushless DC motor with PID control drives a 5.2kg diamond-cut machined aluminum platter by belt, with three speeds including 78rpm. The newly developed static-balanced S-shaped tonearm uses a concealed knife-edge vertical bearing for extremely high initial sensitivity.
