The CL-38uC is a vacuum tube control amplifier that uses SRPP (Shunt Regulated Push Pull) circuitry in every stage. A genuine tube phono equalizer is built in, with independent MC step-up transformers for low- and high-impedance moving coil cartridges selected by a front lever switch. Tone controls with selectable turnover frequencies and transformer-coupled balanced inputs complete a traditionally styled, fully featured preamplifier.
