The Planar 3 uses a lightweight, rigid acrylic-laminated plinth with a double-brace system between the tonearm mount and the main hub bearing. It is fitted with the RB330 tonearm and a 12mm float-glass platter, and can be upgraded with the outboard Neo power supply for electronic speed change.
