The ph25.2 is a hybrid headphone amplifier pairing a reliable 6N16B tube preamp section in an SRPP circuit with two buffered headphone outputs driven by TPA6120 op-amps. CD and AUX inputs and a preamp output are carried on audiophile-grade CMC RCA sockets, with Neutrik headphone output sockets on the brushed alloy fascia. A low-noise R-core power transformer, an Alps Type 27 potentiometer accurate to 0.5 dB, and switchable voltage complete the build.
