The MMF-5.3 SE dresses Music Hall's dual-plinth design in a classic walnut real wood veneer. The 9-inch carbon fiber tonearm is fully adjustable for VTA and azimuth, with a decoupled counterweight whose center of gravity sits level with the stylus tip to act as a resonance damper. An Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge comes properly aligned and mounted, driven by an isolated DC synchronous motor with a two-speed stepped pulley for 33 1/3 and 45 rpm and supported by a Teflon-sheathed stainless steel main bearing.
