The Classic is a semi-automatic turntable in dark walnut wood veneer; at the end of a side the tonearm lifts automatically and the platter stops spinning. It comes with a factory-mounted Music Hall Spirit moving magnet cartridge on a removable headshell and a switchable built-in phono preamplifier, so it plays directly into any system. Electronic speed control covers 33 1/3 and 45 rpm, with an aluminum platter and felt mat resting on a medium-density fiberboard base with adjustable vibration-damping feet.
