The MPC1500 shields a home audio system from AC line noise and power surges. At its heart is a large, quiet toroidal isolation transformer specially wound to act as a low pass filter on the AC line, joined by a quick-acting surge suppression module. Up to twelve components connect through its receptacles, housed in a full-size chassis that matches the rest of a McIntosh stack.
