The MCD600 is built around a premium 8-channel 32-bit PCM/DSD DAC run in Quad Balanced mode, with four DAC channels per audio channel. Beyond commercial SACDs and CDs it plays CD and DVD data discs and USB flash drives in formats including AIFF, ALAC, DSD128, FLAC and WAV. Fixed and variable outputs with volume control allow direct connection to an amplifier, and a High Drive headphone amplifier serves private listening.
